Brookings-Harbor High School Class of 1976

50th Class Reunion - July 24-26, 2026

Reunion details nailed down

After a fantastic journey to Brookings this past weekend to enjoy friends and the Azalea Festival, we have finalized the plans for the BHHS Class of ’76 a short two months from now.

We found the perfect spot for the Friday night gathering: Chetco Brewing Co. on Railroad St. near the old BrookPly mill. It’s a pretty large space, a great selection of beers, ciders and wines, and a couple food trucks for those who want to put the feedbag on. They have live music on Friday night as well, so it should be a fun evening. We’ll plan to start at 6 p.m. and it is open until 9 p.m.

One other time change: We’ll have the formal Class Reunion event at 4 p.m. at the Chetco Historical Museum. They are open to the public until 4, but we have plenty of time to set up. Parking is somewhat limited, but there is a field across the street where you can park if the lot is full.

So here’s our official schedule:

At last week’s Azalea Festival, the grand marshals were Dick and Ruth Wilson. Dick is 95 and while moving slow, he’s still pretty sharp. During the Pioneer Citizen presentation at the museum, Dick spoke about his time at school teaching driver’s education. The MC asked for anyone who took driver’s ed from Mr. Wilson to stand up and about 16 people jumped to their feet!

Keep spreading the word on the reunion and we should get a great turnout. I’ve heard from many who have made hotel reservations and are gearing up to be there. See you soon!
