Brookings-Harbor High School Class of 1976

50th Class Reunion - July 24-26, 2026

Guess who’s back in town?!!?

In the immortal words of Thin Lizzy (1976):

“Guess who just got back today,
Them wild-eye boys that have been away,
Haven’t changed, had much to say
But man, I still think them cats are crazy.”

That’s right, the Boys (and Girls) are Back in Town this weekend for the BHHS Class of ’76 Reunion. It’s finally here and I don’t know about you, but I am so looking forward to this weekend and all that will happen.

We’ve got the final details all together for the weekend. The schedule is unchanged, per below:

Friday, July 24
6 p.m.Informal gathering at
Chetco Brewing Co.

830 Railroad St.
(near the old Brookings Plywood)
 Saturday, July 25
10:30 a.m.Tour the high schoolBrookings-Harbor High
(meet out front near the office)
4 p.m.Class of 1976 ReunionChetco Historical Museum
15461 Museum Road
Harbor, OR

For those of you who have asked about contributing to the costs of the reunion, we’ll put out a donation bucket on Saturday. Whatever we collect over and above our expenses, we will donate to the Chetco Historical Museum for hosting us.

Keep spreading the word about the reunion to any classmates you are still in touch with. Some folks have just heard about this, even though we’ve tried promoting the dates for six months or so. We’ve done our best with the outreach, but it’s tough to find everyone since we’re spread throughout the country.

As for Friday, we’ll try to take over Chetco Brewing. There’s live music, so we’ll be requesting lots of ’70s songs. Look for the sign on one of the tables for the gathering point.

Saturday morning let’s meet at the office entrance for the high school tour. We’ve got a few surprises in store for Saturday afternoon, so come prepared to enter the way-back machine.

If you are going to take any photos on Saturday, be sure to share them by email to [email protected] and I’ll post them here after the weekend.

So in keeping with the Thin Lizzy theme of this post:

“The nights are getting warmer, it won’t be long
Won’t be long ’til the summer comes
Now that the boys (and girls) are here again”

See you soon!
